Our Story

The Buildin Stores story began with the launch of our Roofin Store in 2015 as an extension of our successful prefab roof manufacturing and installation company, Insullite Limited.

Insullite manufactures prefabricated roofs and extension systems, for approved installers throughout the UK, and we carry out our own installations in the North West. We knew that our experience in the industry would lend itself perfectly to selling construction materials online, and unlike many other companies selling building materials online, we actually use many of the products that we sell, giving us unrivalled product knowledge on the materials we sell.

In 2022 Insullite celebrated its 10 year anniversary and we’re excited to continue manufacturing high quality prefabricated roofs and extension systems for many years to come, alongside our group on online retail websites, Roofin Store, Plumin Store and Gardenin Store.

We’re a family-run business and we believe in providing excellent customer service and honest advice, that’s why we’re always here to help if you need it. Whether it’s product advice before you place an order on our website, or help with an existing order, when you contact Buildin Stores we’ll always try our best to help or at the very least, point you in the right direction.

Big Ambitions

We have seen fantastic growth year on year, and in 2022 we rebranded as Buildin Stores, a centralised brand, customer service and order processing hub for our great online stores, each with an industry-specific product range. This will enable us to improve our position within an ever-growing online marketplace and dramatically increase our product offering from industry-leading brands such as Velux, Tapco Roofing, Supaplastics, Metrotile, Clear Amber, Floplast, SuperFOIL, Celotex, Marshalls and we have many more products being added daily. Ultimately, this will create a more competitive and dynamic group of online stores, offering everyday low prices to all customers.
