Product Description

Eco Slate Plastic Roof Tile – Traditional Grey (Pack of 16)

The technical and ecological roofing solution, Eco Slate Plastic Roof Tile…

A state-of-the-art solution which provides a strong, pliable and attractive roofing option for a wide range of building applications, including low-angle pitches and curved roofs. Eco Slate produces a natural and authentic slate appearance in a range of colours: Traditional Grey, Old World Red and Cumbrian Green.

The installation process is very simple as the slates are fitted straight onto a plyboard or oriented strand board (OSB), no roof battens are required, a standard breathable underlay and then nailed down. Nails should be 16mm hot dip galvanised annular ring shank with a minimum 5mm head. Nail by hand ONLY, do not use a nail gun. Nail position guides and spacers are pre-marked. It’s that easy!

The process gives a stronger, more pliable membrane and creates a roof that is wind and weather resistant, and provides better insulation even at low pitches.

Eco Slate installation is incredibly cost-effective – it takes less than half the time of traditional slate, all without any damage, breakages or waste associated with real slate.

Over a period of time the slate will bond together forming a solid membrane on your roof. This process has no specific timescale as it relies on sunlight, and therefore bonds faster during the summer months than the winter months.

As seen on Grand Designs…
