Product Description

Britmet – Plaintile – Lightweight Roof Tile (0.45mm)

Britmet Lightweight Roofing presents the exclusive Plaintile roofing system, renowned as the world’s sole authentic broken bond Plaintile lightweight roofing system. This innovative lightweight solution can be securely installed on roofs with a minimum pitch of 15° and is offered in a selection of six attractive colours.

Crafted in Britain, the Plaintile roofing system by Britmet Lightweight Roofing is meticulously manufactured using the finest grade of Aluzinc Steel. It boasts a superior external coating, making it the epitome of durability. Despite its exceptional strength, this roofing system weighs only 1/7th of traditional tiles, ensuring ease of handling and installation. Its simplicity and elegance make it an excellent choice for both roofing and cladding applications. Furthermore, it is a fully dry fix system, providing a convenient and efficient replacement option for existing rosemary or Plaintile roofs and cladding.

How many Britmet Plaintile per square metre:

  • You need 5 Britmet Plaintile tiles to cover 1 square metre (5 per m²)

Simply, calculate the square meterage of your roof by multiplying the length by the width in metres (L x W = M2), then multiply that square meterage using the guide above.

For example: if you have a 5 metre x 3 metre roof, then the equation would be 5 x 3 = 15, then 15 x 5 = 75 Britmet Plaintile*.

*DISCLAIMER: This is just an estimated guide based on exact coverages advised by the manufacturer, and does not allow for wastage or cuts. The roofing industry standard for this is to allow an additional 5% to 10%, depending on the roof’s complexity and the skill/experience of the person installing the product, therefore, the final decision on quantity is the responsibility of our customer or the person installing the product.
