While these membranes can withstand UV exposure for up to 3 months, it is considered best practice to promptly install the primary waterproofing finish, such as slates or tiles.

During installation, it is essential to orient the Permavent membranes correctly, ensuring that the side with the Permavent logo is facing upward.

For applications involving tile and slate roofs, the membrane should be laid horizontally across the rafters, commencing at the eaves. Properly secure the membrane in place using either battens or membrane tape, taking care to maintain a secure and tight fit.
